Omada SG5428X ist ein zuverlässiger L3 Switch der Einstiegsklasse, der speziell für Anforderungen auf der Access-Ebene entwickelt wurde. Er bietet L3-Routing, schnelle kabelgebundene 10G-Geschwindigkeiten sowie Stackable-Funktionen. Ausgestattet mit 24× Gigabit RJ45 Ports, 4× 10G SFP+ Slots, Physical Stacking-Funktionalität und zentraler Verwaltung, ist der SG5428X in Kombination mit starken Sicherheits- und umfassenden Managementfunktionen eine verlässliche Netzwerklösung für KMU, Unternehmen und ISPs. 24× Gigabit RJ45 Ports und 4× 10G SFP+ Slots ermöglichen eine Switching-Kapazität von bis zu 128 Gbit/s pro Einheit. Physical Stacking von bis zu 4 Einheiten stärkt die Netzwerkstruktur durch integrierte Redundanz und höhere Performance. Ausgestattet mit umfangreichen Layer-3-Routingprotokollen zur Unterstützung skalierbarer Netzwerke. Unterstützt werden Static Routing, RIP, OSPF, DHCP Server und DHCP Relay. ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) ermöglicht einen schnellen Schutz sowie eine rasche Wiederherstellung in Ringtopologien und ist damit essenziell für eine hohe Netzwerkverfügbarkeit in mittelständischen Unternehmensumgebungen. Schutz vor einer Vielzahl von Netzwerkbedrohungen durch Unterstützung von ACL (IPv4 & IPv6), Dynamic ARP Inspection, IEEE 802.1X, MAB, Port Security und Secure Shell. Die Integration in das Omada-System ermöglicht eine zentrale Verwaltung in der Cloud sowie eine Reihe von Managementfunktionen wie Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP). Die Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) Plattform integriert Netzwerkgeräte wie Access Points, Switches und Gateways und bietet eine 100 % zentrale Verwaltung über die Cloud – gesteuert über eine einzige Oberfläche. Neben der zentralen Verwaltung über Web oder die Omada App lässt sich der SG5428X auch komfortabel über eine intuitive webbasierte grafische Benutzeroberfläche (GUI) oder eine branchenübliche Command Line Interface (CLI) verwalten. Für beide Verwaltungsarten wird der Datenverkehr durch SSL- oder SSH-Verschlüsselung geschützt. Die Unterstützung von SNMP (v1/v2c/v3) und RMON ermöglicht das Abfragen relevanter Statusinformationen sowie das Versenden von Traps bei ungewöhnlichen Ereignissen.
