Der ER605 unterstützt IPSec-/PPTP-/L2TP-VPN über IPSec-/SSL-Protokolle. Die Ein-Klick-IPSec-VPN-Funktion vereinfacht die Konfiguration erheblich und erleichtert Netzwerkverwaltung und Bereitstellung. Gleichzeitig schützt und verschlüsselt sie die standortübergreifende Kommunikation über das Internet. Diese Version verbessert die VPN-Leistung um das 4–5-Fache – dank des direkten Feedbacks aus der Omada-Community.
